Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion, also known as micro peel, is a procedure that involves intensive peeling of the epidermis and the upper layer of the dermis. The peel is performed using specialized instruments and completely harmless preparations. The treatment is recommended for people who struggle with blackheads, acne, enlarged pores, scars, discolorations, irregularities in keratinization of the epidermis, the first signs of aging and also stretch marks. Microdermabrasion can be performed on all skin types (acne-prone, sensitive, seborrheic, dry, tanned). The treatment exfoliates, oxygenates and strengthens the skin, and additionally stimulates collagen production. This method of peeling the epidermis can be used not only on the face, but also on the entire body. Apart from the face, it is usually performed on the cleavage, back and neck.
Preparation
To prepare the skin for this method, five days before the planned treatment you should avoid using hair removal creams, waxing, cleansing your face with rough, unpleasant brushes and facial peeling.
Effects
The first effects are noticeable almost immediately – the skin becomes smooth and tight. The skin is stimulated for natural regeneration, its blood supply and oxygenation are improved. The pores are cleaned and unclogged. Imperfections such as wrinkles, stretch marks, discoloration, blackheads and even scars are eliminated. This type of treatment is gentle and causes practically no complications. There is no swelling, and you can return to your normal activity shortly after the procedure.
The best results are achieved by using microdermabrasion in series at equal time intervals. To strengthen the effect, specially selected vitamin skincare is often used right after the treatment, because the skin cleansed from dead epidermis absorbs nutrients perfectly.
