Facelift in Wroclaw
A facelift is a procedure consisting in rejuvenation of the skin, restoring its proper firmness and smoothness. It is carried out to fill in wrinkles and furrows, especially on temples, forehead and cheeks. The treatment involves pulling on the skin after making incisions in inconspicuous areas along the hairline down to the skin behind the ears.
Preparation for surgery
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and the condition necessary to perform the surgery is good general health and basic laboratory test results within normal limits. Two weeks before the surgery, it is advisable not to take aspirin and other drugs containing acetylsalicylic acid or its derivatives (e.g. metamizole, ketoprofen, ibuprofen, diclofenac etc.), only paracetamol is allowed. To reduce bruising, we recommend taking Rutinoscorbin (ascorbic acid+rutoside) for 3 weeks before surgery (2 pills 3 times a day). Makeup, contact lenses and nail polish must be removed before surgery.
Effects of the surgery
Thanks to the method used, the face does not lose its natural appearance and facial expressions, while the scars are hidden in the hairline, making them almost invisible. The skin regains its elasticity, wrinkles are smoothed and the face contour is clearly improved. After the procedure, the facial appearance undergoes a positive metamorphosis, as does the patient’s well-being.
A facelift not only restores a younger, attractive appearance – it also boosts self-confidence.
