Abdominoplasty in Wroclaw
Abdominoplasty, also known as a “tummy tuck” or abdominal wall correction, involves removing excess fat and skin primarily from the middle and lower abdomen.
Flabby and sagging skin is usually formed as a result of aging processes, rapid loss of significant body weight, as well as a result of pregnancy. Excess tissue in the abdominal fold also causes back strain.
Preparation for surgery
The prerequisite for carrying out the procedure is good general health and basic laboratory test results within normal limits. Two weeks before the surgery, it is advisable not to take aspirin and other drugs containing acetylsalicylic acid or its derivatives (e.g. metamizole, ketoprofen, ibuprofen, diclofenac etc.), only paracetamol is allowed. It is also recommended to take vitamin C (eg. ascorbic acid+rutoside, Rutinoscorbin). Makeup, contact lenses and nail polish must be removed before surgery.
Before the procedure, it is necessary to eat easily digestible foods and to defecate the previous day. For women, it is important that the procedure takes place after menstruation.
Effects of the surgery
The effect of the treatment is a flat stomach, reduction of unwanted “love handles” and stretch marks on the abdomen. The primary effect of the surgery is visible immediately after the procedure. Improving the shape and appearance of the abdomen significantly improves the patient’s well-being and self-confidence. In order to achieve further body shaping, it is necessary to support the effects of the treatment through diet and appropriate physical exercises.
