Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)
The procedure performed using platelet-rich plasma is a natural, safe and effective method of skin revitalization and rejuvenation.
The treatment involves the preparation and use of platelet-rich plasma on an area requiring regeneration. Platelet-rich plasma itself is a specially prepared blood derivative that is made from the blood of the patient undergoing the procedure. It stimulates cells, improves their activity and promotes regenerative processes.
This treatment is also dedicated to people with excessive hair loss as well as suffering from joint and tendon injuries.
Tips for Patients/Preparation for the procedure
Before the procedure, the body must be in generally good physical condition. It is important to be well hydrated during this time (minimum 1.5 l of water before the procedure). Do not use nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs before the procedure and 7 days after. Analgesic treatment after the procedure is consulted with the doctor individually. The patient may take 1-2 tablets of paracetamol (1-2 x 500 mg) before the procedure. On the day of the procedure, you should avoid the sauna, hot baths, fitness classes and increased physical activity.
Effects of the procedure
The effects of skin biostimulation with platelet-rich plasma are visible after the first treatment (after about 2-3 weeks). There is a noticeable wrinkle smoothing, improvement of skin elasticity, tightness and density, revitalization, hydration and recovery of skin springiness. The skin is smoothed and perfected.
In order to maintain the effects of accelerated skin regeneration, a series of 2-3 treatments every 3-4 weeks is recommended.
