Exilis – body
Exilis is one of the most modern methods of body contouring in aesthetic medicine – thanks to the use of ultrasound and radiofrequency simultaneously.
The combination of ultrasound and high-frequency energy makes it possible to reach previously resistant and hard-to-access tissue. The treatment involves heating the treated area to a temperature of about 40˚C, which speeds up cellular metabolism. Fat cells break down and are easily metabolized when released. An additional advantage of increased temperature is the stimulation of fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, which improves skin firmness and reduces the visibility of cellulite. It is most often used to slim down the calves, abdomen, thighs, arms, buttocks, elbows, knees and back. It provides slimmer figure and improved body contour. Used on the bust, it firms and lifts it.
It is an alternative to invasive liposuction and injection lipolysis. It can be used on all skin phototypes throughout the year.
Preparation for the procedure
Performing the procedure does not require prior preparation or anesthesia. The treatment is completely safe and painless.
Effects
The effects are noticeable after the first treatment, no recovery time required. Thanks to the reduction of body fat, the body appearance improves and slims down. The effects include shaping selected parts of the body, especially those resistant to exercise and diet, firming and improving skin tone as well as reducing cellulite and stretch marks.
The use of the method brings the best results when performed in a series (4 – 6 treatments), which is recommended to be one treatment every 7-10 days. To help the body in the process of getting rid of fat, it is recommended to follow a light diet and increase fluid intake.
